Sometimes I don’t catch on fast enough. This video was first released in July, and I only just found it. Like another amazing video from Korea Gangnem Style (or Psy-Gangnam Style) features broad graphics, catchy music, and a wonderful dance production. Watch this… Enjoy it… …and, as always, if WordPress or our Plugins fail to deliver the graphic, see it here.

If you ever found Bob Ross while channel surfing, you were either immediately captured by him, or quickly moved on. I doubt there was ever any question. You liked his show or your hated it. I found him odd, but fascinating, and believe it or not, my cat, Lamont Cranston, LOVED his show. He would sit and watch Bob paint, and follow the brushstrokes like there were something live to capture. Bob Ross (1942 – 1995) was a fixture on [ Read More ]
Found this, just now, and thought I should share it. I love good humor, but I seldom laugh at it when I am by myself. I can watch the funniest movie, and never crack a smile when I’m alone. Put two or three others in the room with me, and things get funnier. I say this because THIS piece made me laugh out loud, by myself, in my office. I hope you like it as well. Oddly enough, a lot of people believe that the Mayans have pegged it about the end of times. Take a look at this fun little video about the Mayan Calendar, the End of the World, and… yes, the History Channel.
I thought the Japanese dance group previously posted here was pretty outrageous. Then I saw what the Koreans could do with some clever costumes replacing cards at a sports stadium. Watch this video, and pay special attention to the closeups. Amazing!
I just found this a few minutes ago, and find it both entertaining and highly educational. Perhaps like me, you have wondered what an American accent sounds like to non-English speakers. This little video takes you one further and reveals not just how the accent sounds, but how a non-English speaker might perceive the American version of English. On top of it all, the high-energy music is pretty good. What do you think?
Today’s offering is a long one… and the introduction may drive you up the wall. Of course you can scroll past it and get right into Dr. Michio Kaku’s eye-opening and entertaining talk about the world of the future a scant 20 years from now. Is this how it will be? Probably not. Predictions of the future are seldom correct, but much of what he says will be there when we arrive will undoubtedly be possible. Much of it is possible today, but [ Read More ]
After much searching, I finally found my copy of Angel’s Station by Manfred Mann’s Earth Band. This is an album I think every pop music fan should at least hear, and should probably own. Every track on this album is excellent. The album is a triumph in so many ways, not the least of which is Angel Station features a six-note descending theme in most of the songs on the album, woven into the context of each song in a [ Read More ]
What in the world happened to the wonderful story of John Carter of Mars? Well, to start, Disney messed with the title. The recent movie, Disney’s John Carter was a failure, or at least that’s what the pundits would have you believe. There will not be a sequel. Now, to some of this, the “failure” of the film is a real head-scratcher. Yes, the story was a mixture of more than one of the Barsoom books, but that didn’t make me [ Read More ]
